We respectfully point out that wedding and room bookings represent a considerable commitment in our diary, and cancelled or postponed bookings can rarely be replaced.
We regret that dates cannot be transferred.
Deposits are non-refundable - and a fee of 50% of the total cost will be charged if cancellation occurs within 42 of the date booked. 100% will be charged for cancellations that occur within 14 days of the date booked, and for non-arrivals. Costs will be charged against your credit card.
We advise that insurance can be obtained to cover these expenses.
Provisional bookings can be held for four days - but we reserve the right to cancel and unconfirmed booking.
To confirm your booking we require the return of the completed booking form, together with a non-refundable fee of £10 per person for meals (£30 per night for rooms), which will be held as a first deposit and will be deducted from your final bill.
We ask for payment of your final bill two weeks before your arrival date for the wedding reception.
Extras and any guest accommodation may be taken care of by cash, credit card (Switch, Visa, Mastercard or American Express), travellers' cheques, bank cheque, building society cheque or personal cheques (only up to the card guarantee limit - e.g. to pay £250 with a £50 card, we would require five cheques).
Cheques should be made payable to Gretna Chase Hotel.
